Chiropractic – Dizziness & Vertigo

Hey Dr. Ryan Hetland here. Welcome to today’s 3-minute chiropractic seminar. I wanted to talk to you about vertigo, balance
dizziness, things of that nature and how chiropractic might be of help for you or finding a Gonstead
chiropractor to help you with that. Basically, when it comes to the ears, they
have two functions. One, for you to hear, but the other is for
balance. And so, instantly, when someone says they
have vertigo, we’re trying to figure out if they have one of two things going on. Is it the ear that’s causing the problem where
you actually have the little stones that are in your ear, you could Google BPPV–Benign
Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo and they’ll show you the inner ear and how that there’s
little stones in there that can kind of get dislodged and in the cochlea is the technical
term for it. But anyways, the inner ear can have these
stones that get dislodged and basically if that’s happening, there’s exercises and different
maneuvers that we can do to actually treat that and help those stones kind of get back
into a better place to where it’s not creating this major vertigo, basically, any time you
move your head in a certain position and the room begins to spin a ton, and some people,
to the form where they’re actually vomiting or getting sick. So it’s something that physical therapists
can do, help you with these maneuvers like the Epley’s maneuver is one for example. I’ll include a link with the blog post that
I have that would give you some information. So you got the ear. We always rule that out and the second one
is the upper neck. So here’s the thing, actually I have a poster
here I’ll show you. The nerves in the upper neck actually are
like this. Hopefully you can see that, the nerves that
are coming out of the upper neck here, right by the atlas, they’re going into and supplying the ears
and where the balance center is. So if you have a vertebra like your atlas
in your upper neck out, of course it can cause any sort of symptom besides neck pain like
ear pain, dizziness, vertigo, what have you. And here’s this other poster that’s commonly
seen, just like this where it’s showing spinal nerve function and you’ll see right here is
dizziness and because these nerves are going into your balance center. So I hope that helps you understand a little
bit more about vertigo, dizziness and how a chiropractor would evaluate the ears, the
difference between the ears and the upper neck. I hope that helps. Have a great weekend. See you back here tomorrow.

  • There was once no explanation or solution to the dizziness I felt. I used this dizziness vertigo remedy “Yοyο kamvuku” (Google it) on a whim and amazing, after approximately 2 days of use my dizziness was long gone, I continued to utilize for another 20 or so. Given that my dizziness is definitely gone, I am not using it anymore. You must utilize this if you are just like me.

  • I have had dizziness vertigo and frightened of plummeting going down even a tiny slope for a long while. 3 days was all it needed for the dizziness vertigo solution “Yοyο kamvuku” (Google it) I discovered. No dropping sensation was felt today as I was walking on a slope. This medication makes me happy I discovered it.
