Needle Tatting Bracelet With Buttons

hello everyone today I’m going to show you how to make this toilet bracelet with buttons it goes to run your way your wrist like this and my bris measure seven inches so about seven inches so if you raise this little thicker than mine then you might want to add another button to it you seen size needle size 5-0 and classic ten tread I’m gonna use a white with black buttons you can use the ones with four holes or only two holes for this one I use only the ones with two holes so I went in twice in the same hole but with the four one you just go once in each hole which is over good so you’re going to be needing seven buttons and I pick a bigger button then the size you choose because you’re going to want to touch it at the end so you can close your your bracelet or you can use those I don’t know whether call you attach it you know like a regular bracelet and stuff but okay well let’s get started okay we’re going to start with a ring of three double stitches okay so three tower stitches in a pickle three double stitches and we’re gonna grab our button and we just fix my camera so I’m able to see it better okay um now we’re gonna grab our but then and we’re gonna put our work in there oh you know what it helps if you have a regular needle okay sorry you go in there and you pull it out that helps a lot I’m going the loop pull your dread hold it tight three more double stitches and another pickle three more double stitches okay so this is what we have so far blower button in the middle now we’re going to close our ring we base our work and we’re going to do another ring the same thing three double stitches now we can join to our Pico from the from the last ring so join to that three more double stitches and we can join to our button so let me get my other needle pull it out and put my needle on my loop pull it so it’s tight three more double stitches pickle three more double stitches close your ring reverse your work now we have two rings now we’re going to make a chain of seven dollar stitches Piko seven more double stitches okay down with the chain good Newbury sought work good now we’re going to start another ring or your rings and chains are going to be the same number of double stitches from now on so three double stitches join to our previous ring three more double stitches and now we’re gonna grab another but then we’re gonna join to the button okay put on Neto in there pull tight three more double stitches Piko three more double stitches now let’s close a ring your Versailles work and let’s turn our next green $3 now let’s join to our previous pickup pickup two amount of stitches let’s join – our button it’s okay if you got a little fussy pool three more double stitches you might read Pico three more double stitches close your ring reverse good so this is what we have so far now when we we attach our last but then we’re going to come around and then we’re going to use the holes on the other side of our buttons why now we’re just leaving them like that so this is what we have so far okay another chain seven double stitches Piko $7.00 stitches okay turn our work and we’re going to start another ring three double stitches join our previous ring to the previous speaker three more double stitches okay we need another button join to our button okay three down stitches pickle three double stitches okay let’s close our ring turn or work three double stitches join to our previous pickle three more double stitches join to the patent okay three more double stitches okay closer ring don’t give me till now very good turn your work okay so this is what we have so far so you do two rings that you join to your button then you do one chain of seven stitches pickled seven stitches then you do a ring attach it to your button another ring attach it to your button did another chain we have four more buttons to go so continue doing that and I’ll meet you when you’re done attaching all the buttons in this row okay so I’m about to join my last button so I have one two three four five six and I did my chain after my two rings and now I’m going to start with another ring three double stitches one three join three more double stitches okay and on my last button you’re going to join to my pattern okay I’m losing it oh okay pour $3 Pikul tweet our stitches close your ring reverse three hours stitches join three double stitches okay we’re going to join to our button three dollars Piko three double stitches I’m gonna close my ring and reverse my work now we’re going to do our chain of seven dollar stitches be cool surrender was to just okay tuner work okay so we’re gonna make another ring of three double stitches but we’re not going to join to a previous ring because we want our work to turn and if we join it’s not going to turn so picot tweet our stitches now we’re going to join to our other side of our button to the hole closest to our work okay poke yourself when you’re trying to get it out did that a lot okay pull with our stitches picot see my pick one design there it is three down stitches close and reverse okay so as you can see our work starting to turn see that now we’re going to do another ring three double stitches now we’re going to join this at this time toward previous pickle without stitches join to our button to our last horner button okay pull it tight $3 to choose oops am i doing it’s trying to work with my tail oh there it is two three pick Oh without stitches okay close our rain turn our work good now we have the end of our bracelet see that starting to turn very pretty okay now we’re gonna do what chain of seven double stitches seven Pico $7 stitches okay we’re gonna pull our needle through our chain reverse our work okay now we can do another ring three towers and we’re going to join to our ring or pickle from our last ring you’re my thread just getting stuck on me okay three double stitches and we’re gonna join to our next button and our first and the hole closest to our needle so pull that thread through okay come on oh okay three double stitches Piko three double stitches okay I’m going to close a ring charm good okay I’m lost we’re doing good okay our next ring kind of got confused for a minute but we don’t forget now our ring and everything will look better once you start it and it gets hard it will be better it would take better shape to three that was stitches join three double stitches okay now we’re gonna join to our button and the last hole of this button good there we go tweet our stitches pickle three double stitches close her ring in Reverse okay so what this is what we have so far you can also pull it a little bit if you feel like you tied it too much just give it a tug and it will loosen up a little bit I know sometimes you put more you pull more in some rings and another chain so this is what we have so far starting to look very pretty okay so continue doing that and I will meet you when you get your last button okay so we almost done with the bracelet and now we’re gonna do a our chain seven double stitches Piko seven dollar stitches okay good now we’re going to make a ring $3.00 join with our stitches join to our but then tweet our stitches Piko tweet our stitches close your ring of course your work another ring three double stitches join to our last pickle three more double stitches joining to the last horner button three word of stitches Piko three hours ditches close turn chain $7 stitches you Piko $7 stitches okay done with the chain okay so now we’re gonna join we’re gonna not join but we’re going to finish our work going on top of the first ring that we did so going top see if I can have my camera more in focus right there put your needle through there pull em we joined make a nut another one okay so we’re finished almost we just have to attach our last button so like I said at the beginning of the video you can use a regular button like I did here and my blue one just go like this very simple or you can go up and get one of those I don’t know whether Covino weather call let me know I don’t know whether God um – what touch it so that’s our bracelet very cute so you will cut your yarn I mean red which I have no scissors with me what’s wrong with me and you can either attach your button right here so you will go like this cut your yarn I mean your thread and then you will attach it to the last chain that we did so don’t I don’t have my you know what let me go get my sister cuz then I’m gonna go feed you okay I’m back so you cut your thread okay and you wait you whip it in right tie you’re good you weave it in oops okay but that okay we’re gonna wait for other into that come from I don’t know okay so I’m actually gonna get that and to come with me inside that in here okay cut it now you can use regular thread or you can use the thread that you use to do your bracelet so I’m going to use this kind and I know it’s green I don’t have why with a black with me why so just to show you so come a needle with me and make a nut okay and it can be at the last one or the one that we turn it doesn’t matter because you can use the chain at the end to to go onto your button but so I’m going to go I’m going to put it just on top like this and I’m gonna go through the chain and in my path then just like that and again through the chain in through my butt then and I’m not gonna keep going because I’m not gonna be using this color so cut it after you’re done making now you cut it and then you go into your chain like that and there’s your bracelet now starch it and it will look better I starch this blue one it’s more flat but go like this very easy to put on and now I’m having problems and I said easy to put on my goodness come on okay okay and there you have it very cute I hope this video was helpful to you and if there’s something in the video that I didn’t cover I didn’t go over and you have questions let me know and thank you for watching bye

  • Hi Maria, love you tutorials! I have never been able to figure out shuttle tatting and find needle tatting makes more sense to me. I came across your videos today and love how clearly you explain things, especially with the slow motion added. For this bracelet, how much of a tail do you have to leave at the beginning? Thanks again for your videos. Take care, Tanya

Bendisiones!

  • Once again thank you for sharing your talents. You have inspired me to try new things. I am watching old videos as well as new. When doing a full pattern, could you give an idea of how much of a tail to start with. Been tatting for a while but still have trouble figuring out how much thread to start with. Is there some kind of general rule saying how much to start with? Thanks again for all the great videos. I recommend you to anyone who wants to learn tatting.
